Article 1 – Generalities

These general conditions of sale are concluded between, on the one hand, WALK IN PARIS, whose registered office is located at 66 boulevard voltaire 75011 Paris, a company with a capital of 1000 Euros, registered at the RCS of Paris under number 801 756 933 and hereinafter referred to as “Walk In Paris” and on the other hand, all natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase on the website, hereinafter referred to as “customer”.

These conditions are intended to define the contractual relations between Walk In Paris and the customer as well as the conditions applicable to all purchases made via the online store, be the customer either a professional entity or individual. All product orders imply the customer’s unreserved agreement and full assent to these terms and conditions of sale.

These conditions of sale prevail over any other general or special conditions not expressly approved by Walk In Paris. Walk In Paris reserves the right to change these conditions of sale at any moment. Under these circumstances, the applicable conditions shall be the ones in effect at the date of the customer’s order.

The mere fact Walk In Paris does not avail itself of one of the clauses of these general terms and conditions may not be interpreted as a waiver of any such conditions in the future.

Article 2 – Nature of the goods and services on offer

The products on offer are those appearing in the catalogue published on the website. These products are offered while stocks last. Each product is described by Walk In Paris.

The catalogue’s photographs are as accurate as possible but cannot perfectly reproduce the products on offer, notably their colours.

Article 3 – Prices

All prices appearing in the catalogue are in euros and are inclusive of the VAT rate applicable on the day each order is placed. Prices may be changed to reflect any changes to this rate. Walk In Paris reserves itself the right to change its prices at any moment although the price appearing in the catalogue the day an order is placed shall be the sole price applicable to the customer. Prices appearing in the catalogue do not include order processing fees or transport and delivery fees provided orders are placed in the following geographic areas.

Article 4 – Geographic areas

Products appearing on the website are available for sale within mainland France; they shall be delivered via La Poste. Orders to EEA countries shall be dispatched via La Poste’s “Colissimo suivi Europe” service (International parcel delivery with tracking). Orders to countries outside of the EEA shall be dispatched using international postal services.

Article 5 – Orders

All customers wishing to purchase a product must:

  • Fill in the identity form and include the required details or provide their client number if they have one;

  • Fill in the online purchase form by providing their chosen product’s reference number;

  • Validate their order once they have verified it;

  • Make payment under the intended conditions;

  • Confirm their order and their payment. Order confirmation entails assent to these conditions of sale, acknowledgment that they are perfectly understood and a waiver to assert own or separate conditions of purchase. All data supplied and the registered confirmation shall be proof of the transaction. Order confirmation shall constitute signature and acceptance of the undertaken operations. Walk In Paris shall send confirmation of the registered order via email.

Article 6 – Retraction

Customers, physical and non-professional entities, are entitled to a retraction period of 14 (fourteen) days as from delivery of their order. During this period, customers may return their purchase to Walk In Paris for it to be exchanged or reimbursed without incurring any penalty except return postage fees.

Article 7 – Methods of payment

Payment is due upon ordering.

Payment shall be made by credit card or PayPal; all payments shall be processed through BNP Paribas’ “Merc@net” secure system which uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol to digitally encrypt all information transmitted over the network so that it is illegible by third parties.

The customer’s account shall only be debited upon shipment and exclusively for the total price of available products.

Should the customer request it, a paper invoice shall be sent out to them on which the amount of VAT paid shall be made obvious.

Article 8 – Deliveries

Deliveries shall be made to the address mentioned on order forms and can only be within the agreed geographic area. Once products have left Walk In Paris’ premises, they become the customer’s liability.

In the event of damage incurred to products during transport, all justified claims must be made to the carrier within 3 (three) days of delivery. Supplied delivery periods are for information purposes only. Should they exceed 30 (thirty) days as from the date an order is placed then the sales contract may be cancelled and the customer reimbursed.

Article 9 – Warranty

All products supplied by Walk In Paris are covered by a legal warranty of conformity as stipulated in sections 1641 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. Nonconforming products may be returned to Walk In Paris and exchanged or reimbursed. All claims, requests for product exchange or reimbursement must be made in writing and sent to the following address within 30 (thirty) days of delivery: 12 Sentier de la Havarde, 94430 Chennevières-sur-Marne, France.

Article 10 – Liability

Walk In Paris is merely bound by an obligation of means when selling products online. Walk In Paris is not liable for damage incurred through the use of the Internet such as data loss, spying, viruses, service cuts or any other unintended problems.

Article 11 – Copyright & trademark infringement

All elements of the Walk In Paris website,, are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Walk In Paris.

Nobody is authorised to reproduce, redistribute or use in any manner whatsoever, even partially, the website’s elements, by they software, visual or audio based. Any link or hyperlink to Walk In Paris is strictly forbidden without Walk In Paris’ express written consent.

Article 12 – Personal data

As per the law on information technology and individual freedom of 6 January 1978, Customers’ personal information may be processed automatically. Walk In Paris reserves itself the right to collect customers’ information including that available through cookies and, should Walk In Paris deem it necessary, to send this said information to commercial partners.

Customers may oppose disclosure of their details by informing Walk In Paris of their will. Likewise, users are entitled to access and change their personal data as per the law on information technology and individual freedom, n° 78-17, 6 January 1978.

Article 13 – Record-keeping and proof of purchase

Walk In Paris shall archive all order forms and invoices on a reliable and durable medium so as to hold a trustworthy copy of them as per section 1348 of the French Consumer Code. Walk In Paris’ computerised records shall be deemed proof by the parties of all communication, orders, payments and transactions made between the said parties.

Article 14 – Dispute settlement

These Conditions of online sale are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the litigation shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, however many defendants or whatever the nature of the case.
